Situated at 1573 Lynch Mountain Rd, Sautee Nacoochee, GA 30571, our flying field features a professional 390x30 foot geotextile fabric runway marked like a real airport runway, providing an authentic flying experience. Our facility includes two carports housing 12 worktables, perfect for assembling and maintaining your aircraft, with power available for charging batteries throughout the day.
Sautee RC Flyers is an electric-only field for noise considerations, ensuring a peaceful environment for both pilots and our neighbors. We welcome all types of electric RC aircraft, including drones, fixed-wing planes, and helicopters of the electric variety. We have FAA approval to fly up to 1200 feet AGL (Above Ground Level), allowing for extended flight operations. As an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) chartered club, we maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism while fostering a supportive community of aviation enthusiasts.
